About Sarah, Waverley’s Founder
Sarah Okin is a relentless and resourceful problem solver with a passion for talent acquisition and employee engagement.
Having studied, lived and launched businesses in London, England, Sarah brings international experience and strong business acumen to her clients and projects.
Sarah has proven experience in successfully leading start-ups as COO/CFO and in collaborating productively — and profitably. Sarah excels in thinking creatively about her clients, zeroing in on opportunities that benefit employees and the bottom line.
She excels in identifying methods to motivate and incentivize employees, positively impacting retention and productivity. Sarah has extensive nonprofit experience, where she launched several social enterprises and has served on numerous Boards of Directors.
Sarah is a Rothschild scholar, has a Bachelor’s in International Business from Eastern Michigan University and has an MBA in International Business from European Business School London (Regents University) where she graduated as valedictorian. She now resides in Ann Arbor with her family and can be seen every Saturday morning at the Farmers’ Market.
